DELVILLE is looking for a Logistics Director  with commercial accumen to develop a Warehouse Automation Business in France.

• 100+ people, installations in 20+ countries, fast growing

Role Description

• France-based Senior Business Development Manager to prioritize customer engagement in France
• The first dedicated resource in France with the aim to accelerate market penetration ahead of a permanent France BDM hire in ~6 months
• Client prospection, management of relationships with support from head office sales team and 3^rd party distributors

Objectives

• Actively engage with end customers and consultants in France to generate active leads
• Effectively communicate the company’s value proposition to consultants and end-customers to build awareness
• Assist in the recruitment of a permanent BDM then pass on knowledge and network

Profile

• Extensive logistics and supply chain management experience in France including at least 5 years relating to warehouse automation projects
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the technical aspects of and differences between automated warehouse solutions, including key application areas and solution design – E.g. Mini-load, shuttle, AGV, unit load and carousel solution
• Established network of end customer relationships in France
• Autonomous, pragmatic, results driven self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
• Native French speaker with fluency in spoken & written English

Assignment terms

• 6 months, perhaps extendable depending on timing of permanent BDM hire
• Willingness to travel up to 70% domestically
• Working from home office in France when not travelling
• Start ASAP
