Delville Management, a transition management firm, ranked 40th at the Start-Up of the Year Award 2016!

Patrick Abadie and Anthony Baron, co-founders of Delville Management, were among the exceptional entrepreneurs selected to compete in the Île-de-France Start-Up of the Year Award 2016. The award ceremony took place on Thursday 8 September 2016 from 7pm at #Cloud (Paris 2nd arrondissement).

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award, co-organised by L'Express magazine and EY, has been held in France for over twenty years. Each year, it highlights exceptional careers and personalities: men and women who prove that it is always possible to progress, innovate, create value and generate jobs. As drivers of French growth and competitiveness, they inspire confidence and the entrepreneurial spirit.

Among the constellation of entrepreneurs shaping the economy in action, many shine through talent and boldness, driven by a passion for creating, growing, and sharing. For over twenty years, these champions of entrepreneurship have been selected across seven major regions — Est, Île-de-France, Méditerranée, Nord de France, Ouest, Rhône-Alpes and Sud-Ouest — to compete at the regional and then national level of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

To enter the Start-Up of the Year Award, companies must meet the following criteria:

    • have achieved a cumulative turnover or fundraising of one million euros,
    • be less than 8 years old,
    • have a shareholder-manager holding at least 10% of the company,
    • not be owned by a group holding more than 50%.

From this selection, EY experts analyse the founders' career paths, their strategic choices, financial data, growth prospects, etc., during a one-to-one interview with the company leaders.
