Delville Management News

Our brand is evolving. Our commitment remains.
A company that has grown significantly
Sixteen years ago, Delville Management was founded with a simple belief: when a company faces a critical moment in its history, it needs the right person, at the right time, capable of taking immediate action.
That belief hasn't changed since. However, our company has evolved significantly.
Over the years, Delville Management has achieved many milestones and profoundly transformed its model.
- Our territorial presence has been strengthened with offices in Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Toulouse, and Strasbourg, as well as in Germany, Italy, Spain, and even Morocco.
- We have structured our expertise by practice areas and expanded our team, which now comprises over 80 employees.
- This evolution has been accompanied by strong growth in our activity, with over 1,700 missions completed since the firm's opening and an expanded community of over 20,000 qualified interim managers.
- Recently, we enhanced our interim management offering with the launch of Delville Experts, an entity dedicated to intermediate business expertise assignments.
- Finally, in January 2026, we significantly strengthened our operations in Germany with thearrival of five Senior Partners in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Mannheim, and Saarbrücken, and a team of 10 people.
We have evolved, and so has our organization. It therefore seemed necessary to update our identity to more accurately reflect who we have become and what we aim to embody for our clients.
Behind the brand: people at the heart of our business
Beyond its visual expression, this new brand was conceived to reflect our way of working, by putting people at the center.
Our business is, above all, about connections and commitment. Behind every assignment, there are leaders facing major decisions, teams undergoing significant transformation, and managers operating in demanding contexts.
When a leader calls upon us, they primarily expect a trusted partner capable of quickly understanding their situation and providing a tailored solution within very short deadlines.
This expectation of responsiveness and excellence is at the core of our business. We therefore wanted to highlight what enables us to meet it daily: our ability to identify the ideal manager within 72 hours through the combination of three complementary areas of expertise.
- First, strong industry expertise: Our practice directors are specialists in their sector. Their experience as former executives or seasoned managers allows them to engage in peer-to-peer discussions with our clients, quickly understand their challenges, and identify the most relevant expertise to address their issues.
- Next, a strong local presence : Located close to businesses, both regionally and internationally, our teams understand the economic realities of their territory. This proximity fosters direct communication and the building of lasting relationships with both our clients and our managers, allowing us to quickly grasp the specificities of each context and support each mission with precision, responsiveness, and efficiency.
- Finally, dedicated functional expertise: Specialized by function, our sourcing teams identify the most suitable managers for each assignment, using a certified process. By working closely with practice directors and local teams, they combine their expertise to refine the selection and present our clients only with the most relevant profiles in light of their challenges.
It is the combination of these three dimensions that allows us to move quickly without sacrificing quality, to deeply understand our clients' challenges from the very first interactions, and to identify the most suitable person for each situation.
This step is essential, but it is only the beginning of our support: throughout the assignment, we also provide rigorous and structured follow-up to ensure its smooth progress and the achievement of the set objectives.
Growing ambition, an unwavering commitment to excellence
This new identity is not a break from the past. It reflects the evolution of Delville Management and our ambition for the years to come.
We did not want to start from a blank slate. Instead, we chose to retain certain constituent elements of our historical logo and extend their use across our entire brand universe.
The shapes that make up our visual identity are not merely graphic. They convey several dimensions that have characterized Delville Management since its inception: the power of collaboration, our high-quality support, our ability to connect the right people at the right time, and our commitment to supporting businesses during the moments that matter most to them.
By reinterpreting these elements on a larger scale, we aimed to create continuity between our history and our new brand expression, while giving greater visibility to what constitutes the core of our model.
The brand is evolving. Our commitment, however, remains the same.
With that touch of boldness that we hope to continue cultivating in the years to come.

Press Release – November 2025
Delville Management launches "Delville Experts": a new offering to broaden access to transition management
Already recognised as a key player in premium transition management, Delville Management announces the launch of "Delville Experts", a new entity dedicated to operational assignments at the middle-management level. The aim: to respond to growing demand from companies for targeted assignments requiring functional expertise at adjusted rates. This strategic initiative opens up transition management to a broader client base seeking more operationally focused profiles to complement the premium assignments led by Delville Management.
A market in transformation
Transition management is now a sought-after solution for supporting companies through critical phases. It involves deploying, for a defined period, managers who are immediately operational and capable of addressing urgent, strategic challenges: replacing a team member, leading a critical project, restructuring or driving change management. Historically reserved for assignments involving executive-level functions, transition management has undergone significant shifts in recent years — shifts that Delville Experts is designed to address.
Meeting a dual demand: clients and independent managers
Since its founding in 2010, Delville Management has focused on core transition management assignments involving, among other things, strong management oversight. But according to Patrick Abadie, founder and CEO, the market is evolving: "Today, we are detecting growing demand from companies that need not executives, but operational experts capable of stepping in quickly on specific topics. That is the market Delville Experts is here to serve."
This new offering also responds to a structural trend: the growing aspiration of middle managers for greater independence. "Many professionals today want to work on assignments, for clients, rather than for a boss within a traditional hierarchy. Delville Experts opens that door for them, with the same level of rigour and support that has built the group's reputation," says Amaury de Vorges, appointed to lead Delville Experts, bringing over 25 years of experience in recruitment, staffing and transition management firms to this project.
A high-potential segment
The transition management market for profiles billed at €800 per day represents nearly five times more assignments than the premium segment. With Delville Experts, the firm intends to capture a significant share of this market. "Within three years, our ambition is for Delville Experts to contribute 10 to 15% of our total revenue," says Patrick Abadie.
With Indigo Capital as a partner — a minority shareholder in the group since 2024 — Delville Management benefits from additional strategic support to structure and accelerate this new venture.
"This launch is above all driven by our ambition to broaden our offering and respond to new client needs, while remaining true to our values," says Patrick Abadie.
A shared identity, a dedicated organisation
While Delville Experts targets a new segment, the standards remain the same. "We want to offer our clients the same quality of service, the same responsiveness and the same level of support as for our premium assignments," assures director Amaury de Vorges.
Since its founding, Delville Management has supported more than 700 clients — mid-market companies and large groups — through critical transformations, both in France and internationally. With Delville Experts, the firm sets out a new ambition: to democratise access to transition management without any compromise on excellence.
About Delville Management:
Delville Management, a pure-play reference firm in transition management, supports its clients through high-stakes strategic transformations by deploying senior executives on a temporary basis within their organisations.

Delville Management strengthens its presence in Germany
Paris / Düsseldorf, January 2026 — Delville Management, a leading European transition management firm, announces a significant strengthening of its operations in Germany with the arrival of five senior partners: Markus Heimbrodt, Caspar von Gadow, Axel Steffen, Christian Lindner, and Guido Anterist.
Alongside Ulrich von Fürstenberg, already based in Düsseldorf, and an expanded local team including Alexandra Scheidt, Director, they now form a team of ten professionals serving clients in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Mannheim, and Saarbrücken.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in Delville's European development. The new partners collectively bring over 60 years of experience and have conducted more than 600 transition management assignments for industrial groups, Mittelstand companies, and service businesses.
Their arrival enables Delville Management to deploy its model across several strategic regions in Germany — a model built on strong local presence, deep sector expertise, high responsiveness, and rigorous selection processes.
Strengthening local market coverage
With this reinforced German team, Delville Management will be able to:
- ensure a direct local presence across five strategic regions, strengthening proximity to clients and economic ecosystems;
- increase its capacity for rapid intervention in critical management situations (transition, transformation, crisis stabilisation, operational improvement);
- offer German executives access to Delville's European network of transition managers, supported by common methodologies and a shared operational framework across all countries.
A proven model in France, now deployed in Germany
This development follows the regional operational model that Delville Management has had in place in France since 2019, built on locally embedded partners who work in close collaboration with business leaders, executive committees, and operational teams to provide effective support at decisive moments.
The strengthening of the German presence follows the same approach, with experienced local partners rooted in their regional economies and capable of responding quickly and effectively to the challenges facing executives.
A new chapter in Delville's European strategy
Delville has progressively built a multi-country platform, extending its presence in France, Italy, and Spain. In 2025, the group also launched Delville Experts, a dedicated entity focused on middle management, further expanding its capacity to meet a wider range of management needs.
The strengthening of operations in Germany is a logical step, given the size, complexity, and dynamism of the German industrial fabric, as well as the growing demand for high-value transition management solutions.
Statements from leadership
Patrick Abadie, Founder and Chairman, Delville Group
"Germany sits at the heart of our European roadmap. Reinforcing our presence with recognised local partners is part of a long-term strategy: building a European organisation founded on proximity, operational excellence, and trust.
Our development has always been progressive yet ambitious — from opening our first regional offices in France in 2019, to expanding into Southern Europe, to launching Delville Experts in 2025. The arrival of this German team opens a new chapter in that journey. It also reflects the momentum and strength of our Group, which continues to grow while remaining true to its values and operational principles. And this is just the beginning."
Eric Audoin, Partner – Head of International and Paris Office
"Our approach has always been the same: invest first in people. We rely on experienced partners with strong operational backgrounds and deep ties to their local business communities. Transition management is, above all, a relationship-driven profession where credibility is built on local expertise. The partners joining us have an in-depth understanding of German market realities — from complex industrial environments to the specific expectations of Mittelstand family businesses. Their experience, combined with Delville's structured processes, allows us to support German organisations even more effectively."Markus Heimbrodt and Caspar von Gadow, Managing Directors of Delville Management Germany
"Joining Delville Management allows us to combine our knowledge of the German market with a European organisation recognised for its rigour, client proximity, and strong human values. We share the same vision of transition management: speed of intervention, clarity of decision-making, and tangible impact. Together, we want to build a strong and lasting presence in the regions we serve."

Delville Management strengthens its support capacity in the South-West
Paul Jaubert is joining Delville Management's South-West office, led by Arnaud Mézière. Now based in Bordeaux, he will strengthen the firm's capacity to operate across the entire territory covered by the office in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie.
Meeting the challenges of a region in motion
Since the South-West office was established in Toulouse in 2023, Delville Management has already supported more than thirty clients — large groups, mid-sized companies, SMEs, and start-ups — on transformation projects, project management, turnaround & recovery, and leadership transition management assignments.
In a VUCA environment where benchmarks are shifting, priorities are changing, and complexity is intensifying, the demand for transition management is multiplying. "The food and agribusiness sector is under pressure, aerospace and defence are growing strongly, and other sectors such as healthcare, energy, tech, and services are gaining momentum. To better support the region's players in this dynamic, we are reinforcing our regional task force. Paul joins the existing team to respond even more effectively to our clients' expectations," explains Arnaud Mézière.
A complementary team
With Arnaud, Mélanie Chervet, Alanah Rookes, and now Paul in Bordeaux, the South-West team is growing while remaining agile. A complementarity of profiles, networks, and expertise that allows the firm to respond precisely to the needs of regional companies.
A homecoming, at the heart of the region
Originally from the Bordeaux area, Paul knows the local landscape well: the businesses, their decision-makers, their expectations. "My move to Bordeaux is a homecoming, but also a genuine field project. What I enjoy is meeting industry players, understanding their production environment, their internal pressures, their team dynamics," he explains.
His local, family, and cultural roots give him a deep understanding of the codes and economic dynamics of the South-West.
This is precisely the type of background that Delville Management values as part of its proximity strategy. To best support local companies, the firm relies on profiles that are deeply rooted in their region — like Paul — capable of building lasting relationships of trust and immediately understanding the realities and cultural specificities of the local market.
Expertise at the service of local industry players
Beyond his regional roots, Paul Jaubert brings solid experience built over a varied career. An engineer by training, he began his career in recycling and decontamination, then moved into international non-ferrous metals trading. He subsequently moved into recruitment before joining Delville Management's Lille office in 2022.
Today, he puts his experience to work for South-West businesses, supporting them on projects with major strategic stakes. "I am very excited about contributing to the development of the South-West office. It is a great collective adventure, in service of a region I know well and care deeply about," he emphasises.

Delville Management Opens an Office in Spain
Delville Management, a premium transition management firm, is continuing its international development with the opening of a new office in Madrid. This strategic move aims to support Spanish, Franco-Spanish and international companies in addressing their transformation challenges. The office is led by Eric Selva, an experienced executive with deep roots in the Spanish business community and extensive knowledge of transition management. He is joined in this venture by Eric Audoin, the firm's Head of International Development.Contact our Spain office
A market in the making, with real momentum already
Long overlooked, transition management in Spain is gaining ground. The market is growing at 12–15% per year, driven by rising demand linked to restructuring, transformation and external growth operations.
"In just a few months, we have been approached for needs in finance transition management, HR, transformation and IT," notes Eric Selva. "These requests come from organisations looking for effective solutions that can quickly deliver tangible impact."
The challenge, however, remains one of education: making the case for the value of a transition manager. "A leadership gap isn't immediately visible… but you pay the price six months later. Our role is to act quickly and in a structured way to prevent that from happening."
Delville Management's expertise: proximity, responsiveness, excellence
As in each of its offices, Delville Management applies a proven engagement model in Madrid: every assignment is handled by a dedicated pair — a mission director with sector expertise and a local representative embedded in the territory. In Madrid, that local representative is Eric Selva, with his in-depth knowledge of the Spanish business landscape.
This approach ensures a dual fit — professional and cultural — while enabling swift action through a strong local presence and an already operational network on the ground.
"We deploy in under 72 hours, with immediately operational profiles," says Patrick Abadie, Founder and Chairman. "What we bring to Spain is a rare combination: a structured approach to transition management and a thorough understanding of local dynamics."
A new milestone in international development
With Madrid, Delville Management strengthens its European footprint. The firm is now present in ten cities: Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Toulouse, Strasbourg, London, Düsseldorf, Milan and Madrid. A network designed to ensure proximity, quality and responsiveness across all assignments.
But Spain is more than a dynamic market of 48 million people. It is also a natural gateway to Latin America. Several Spanish clients are already engaging Delville Management for assignments extending to Chile, Peru and Argentina. The Madrid office is conceived as a future Euro-Latin hub, attuned to cultural nuances and regional specificities.
For Eric Selva, opening the Madrid office is a strategic choice for Delville Management — but it is also, in his own words, "a homecoming." The grandson of Spanish immigrants, he lived in Spain for more than 20 years and built most of his career there: heading restaurant groups, presiding over a top-division handball club, holding a socios membership at Real Madrid, and serving as Vice President of the French Chamber of Commerce in Madrid for 17 years.
But his ties run deeper than his network: since 2016, Eric has been working as a consultant and transition manager on both sides of the Pyrenees. He has an intimate understanding of clients' needs as well as those of the managers themselves. "I have led, restructured, guided… and I have been a transition manager myself. I know exactly what the people I support are going through."
For those who cross his path, Eric Selva embodies an essential dimension of transition management: the human connection. He speaks readily of the human side of his work — the satisfaction he finds in supporting others, passing on knowledge, opening doors. A commitment that resonates with Delville Management's core belief: putting people at the heart of performance.

What is a Transition Director?
Defining the Transition Director role
The Transition Director (or transition manager) is an experienced senior executive, deployed on a temporary basis to lead a project, drive a transformation, resolve a crisis, or ensure management continuity within an organisation. This professional acts with speed to deliver concrete solutions to urgent and complex challenges, drawing on operational expertise and strong decision-making capability. The assignment is always time-limited but highly strategic: clear and measurable objectives must be met, value must be created in a context of change, and the necessary actions must be implemented quickly. The role is to help the organisation navigate a critical juncture while maintaining management continuity without disruption. The profession is experiencing significant growth in the market, particularly in rapidly evolving environments. This function has become a strategic lever for many companies seeking agility, performance, and security in their transformation or turnaround projects.
What is the difference between a transition manager and an interim director?
The transition manager — of which the Transition Director is a prime example — can operate in a variety of contexts: transformation, project management, crisis management, and also leadership transition management. What sets them apart from an interim director is primarily their external status. They are not integrated into the permanent organisational structure, which allows them to operate with full neutrality, free from internal political pressures. This external positioning gives them considerable freedom of action and the ability to rapidly drive deep-rooted change, even when it is unpopular. Whereas the interim director operates within a logic of continuity, the transition manager is mandated to deliver a measurable impact over a limited period, with a clear obligation to produce results.
What makes an effective Transition Director?
Leadership and rapid decision-making
The Transition Director is a seasoned decision-maker, capable of quickly rallying teams around a shared objective even in an unstable environment. They project natural authority while maintaining constructive dialogue with all stakeholders. Their strength lies in their ability to make swift decisions, while remaining attuned to the operational and human realities of the business.
Adaptability and neutrality
Every assignment takes place in a different environment. That is why an effective transition manager knows how to adapt to the cultural, managerial, and sector-specific characteristics of each company. They maintain a neutral stance, free from internal political agendas, enabling them to take unbiased decisions and defuse conflicts.
Strategic vision and operational execution
The Transition Director combines strategic vision with operational effectiveness. They understand the business challenges, translate them into clear objectives, and implement them methodically. Their role is to turn a vision into tangible results while maintaining rigorous oversight. This dual competence — leadership and execution — makes them a key driver of change.
Cross-sector experience
The diversity of assignments undertaken gives the Transition Director a broad perspective on business challenges. They draw on extensive experience gained across a range of sectors: manufacturing, retail, healthcare, finance, supply chain, and more. This cross-sector versatility fuels their agility, creativity, and ability to propose solutions tailored to each client's needs.
Everything you need to know about the Transition Director
What is the average duration of a Transition Director assignment?
On average, a transition management assignment lasts between 6 and 12 months. Duration may vary depending on the complexity of the project or the objectives to be achieved.
How much does a Transition Director cost?
The daily rate for a Transition Director generally ranges from €1,200 to €2,000 (excl. VAT), depending on the expertise required, the seniority level of the role, the sector, and the length of the assignment.
Can a Transition Director be hired permanently?
Yes, some assignments do lead to a permanent hire. However, the logic of transition management is primarily one of a time-limited engagement, with results expected over a defined period.
What is the difference between a Transition Director and a consultant?
A consultant provides an external perspective and formulates strategic recommendations. The Transition Director, on the other hand, combines this fresh perspective with an immediate capacity to act. They analyse the situation, identify levers for improvement, and implement the necessary decisions themselves. In addition to advising, they take operational leadership of a department or project, manage teams, and ensure that results are delivered on the ground. Their direct involvement and external status allow them to act with neutrality and effectiveness.
How does an assignment with Delville Management work?
Our process begins with a listening and needs-assessment phase. We then select one or more qualified executive profiles, which we present to you within 72 hours. Once a profile is validated, they join your teams within 5 business days. Regular monitoring is maintained throughout the assignment to measure results, adjust actions where needed, and ensure a structured end-of-assignment handover.

Our new transition management office in Milan
With the opening of a transition management office in Milan led by Alessandro Reitelli, Delville Management continues its international expansion. This new office aims to provide local, hands-on support to companies operating in, or looking to establish a presence in, Italy.
Why open an office in Milan?
Milan is a strategic hub for the Italian and European economy. As Italy's financial capital, it is home to numerous international and local companies, and stands out for its dynamism in sectors such as fashion, manufacturing, finance, and luxury goods.
Delville Management has already supported several companies in Milan through their strategic transitions, and the opening of this office marks a step forward in strengthening our on-the-ground service, with a dedicated local team.
This office reflects our commitment to providing current and future clients with transition management solutions tailored to the specificities of the Italian market.
Alessandro Reitelli: an expert at the helm
Alessandro Reitelli, Director of the Milan office, brings over 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles across various sectors internationally. A former CEO for France and Southern Europe at ME Group, he also held a Senior Advisor position at Qualium Investissement for the Italian market. His career has taken him to leadership roles in renewable energy, technology, and services. He has deep expertise in business development, managing complex transitions, and international leadership, having led teams in France, Italy, Denmark, and North Africa.
His experience, combined with an in-depth knowledge of the Italian market, makes him a key asset for Delville Management.
An international model, grounded locally
At Delville Management, transition management firm, we combine specialised sector expertise with a deep understanding of local markets to offer solutions that are tailored and adapted to the regional specificities of our clients.
"Our ambition is to ensure a perfect combination of sector expertise, local market knowledge, and geographical proximity," explains Patrick Abadie. In Milan, this approach is put into practice concretely: every assignment is overseen by Alessandro Reitelli, an expert in the Italian market, alongside a sector practice director specialised in the client company's field of activity.
This partnership model allows us to support companies with a 360-degree view: on one side, sharp expertise in sector-specific challenges, and on the other, a thorough command of local expectations and practices.
Building synergies across our teams
The opening of this office strengthens our network and the synergies between our various teams across Europe.
By fostering exchanges and collaboration, we enhance our ability to rapidly mobilise the skills needed for each assignment, while maintaining consistent quality in the support we provide to clients around the world.
This dynamic is essential for accompanying companies through their strategic projects, whether they involve restructurings, mergers, or organisational transformations.
A closing word: an opening full of promise
"This establishment in Milan marks a new phase in our international development. It enables us to support our clients — both local and European — with the expertise and rigour that define our success. By working closely with our other offices, we are building a unique network of capabilities, ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow." – Patrick Abadie.

REF 2024: Power in Motion
The REF 2024 (Rencontre des Entrepreneurs de France 2024), organised by MEDEF, once again proved to be a landmark event for business leaders and economic stakeholders.
Against a backdrop of major global debates, this sixth edition centred on an ambitious theme: Power. A broad subject explored from every angle — from technological innovation and environmental challenges to democratic checks and balances.
Political power: a growing influence
The decision to focus this edition on political power was no coincidence. With an unprecedented number of elections held around the world this year, the ability to act has become a strategic challenge for businesses.
Discussions highlighted how political upheaval directly shapes economic decision-making. Whether in established democracies or illiberal regimes, these shifts are redefining market dynamics and the role of economic actors.
Innovation and technology: the power to transform
The impact of science and technology on society was another major focus of the event. The session entitled "When Science Changes the World" underscored technological advances as drivers of transformation, while raising essential questions about the ethical challenges they bring.
Several prominent figures were in attendance, including Yasmine Belkaid, Director General of the Institut Pasteur, and Sébastien Missoffe, Managing Director of Google France. Their contributions sparked rich and inspiring exchanges on the technological future.
The European economy: navigating transition and competitiveness
The European economy finds itself at a crossroads. Between financing the shift to a green economy and maintaining global competitiveness, the discussions tackled complex questions.
How can this transition be funded while sustaining high levels of innovation? Conversations highlighted the complexity of these challenges amid geopolitical tensions and digital transformation.
Checks and balances and disinformation: a new battleground
The role of checks and balances and the rise of fake news also featured prominently in the debates. In a society where information spreads faster than ever — sometimes at the expense of truth — rethinking regulatory mechanisms has become essential. Speakers explored ways to combat disinformation, particularly through strategies aimed at strengthening democratic resilience.
It is precisely in this shifting landscape that the expertise of a transition management firm comes into its own. In the face of these challenges, having leaders capable of steering organisations with agility and sound judgement can be a decisive advantage. Transition managers, drawing on their extensive experience, can help companies navigate periods of uncertainty and transformation.
An innovative and inspiring REF 2024
Beyond the debates, REF 2024 stood out for its innovative format and convivial atmosphere. A "members' village" allowed participants to build connections, engage with speakers, and discover unexpected initiatives. This edition succeeded in combining substantive reflection with stimulating encounters, offering participants a forward-looking perspective on today's economic challenges.
In conclusion, REF 2024 once again demonstrated its ability to act as a catalyst for thought and action among entrepreneurs. It not only provided a space for dialogue on contemporary challenges but also fostered innovation and collective commitment towards a more resilient and prosperous future.
