Biography of Nicolas Bouzou
Nicolas Bouzou, born on 26 August 1976 in Boulogne-Billancourt, is a prominent French economist and essayist. He heads the research consultancy Asterès, which specialises in producing economic analyses for public institutions and private businesses.
Nicolas Bouzou also chairs the Rencontres de l'Avenir de Saint-Raphaël, a forum devoted to debates on major contemporary issues. He is also a columnist for L'Express and Europe 1, where he regularly shares his economic expertise and insights.
A prolific author, Nicolas Bouzou has written around twenty books, including the bestseller "La civilisation de la peur", published in 2024 by XO. At the Delville Club Breakfast, he will be signing copies of this book. His work enriches public debate on a wide range of topics spanning economics and society.
He is also engaged in public service, serving as a member of the Ministerial Commission on Parenting. In recognition of his contributions, he has been appointed Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite.
Nicolas Bouzou holds degrees from Université Paris-Dauphine and Sciences Po Paris. He currently serves as Director of Studies and lecturer on the Master 2 and MBA programmes in business law and management at Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas, where he passes on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of executives and economists.
