Delville Management Opens an Office in Spain

Delville Management, a premium transition management firm, is continuing its international development with the opening of a new office in Madrid. This strategic move aims to support Spanish, Franco-Spanish and international companies in addressing their transformation challenges. The office is led by Eric Selva, an experienced executive with deep roots in the Spanish business community and extensive knowledge of transition management. He is joined in this venture by Eric Audoin, the firm's Head of International Development.Contact our Spain office
A market in the making, with real momentum already
Long overlooked, transition management in Spain is gaining ground. The market is growing at 12–15% per year, driven by rising demand linked to restructuring, transformation and external growth operations.
"In just a few months, we have been approached for needs in finance transition management, HR, transformation and IT," notes Eric Selva. "These requests come from organisations looking for effective solutions that can quickly deliver tangible impact."
The challenge, however, remains one of education: making the case for the value of a transition manager. "A leadership gap isn't immediately visible… but you pay the price six months later. Our role is to act quickly and in a structured way to prevent that from happening."
Delville Management's expertise: proximity, responsiveness, excellence
As in each of its offices, Delville Management applies a proven engagement model in Madrid: every assignment is handled by a dedicated pair — a mission director with sector expertise and a local representative embedded in the territory. In Madrid, that local representative is Eric Selva, with his in-depth knowledge of the Spanish business landscape.
This approach ensures a dual fit — professional and cultural — while enabling swift action through a strong local presence and an already operational network on the ground.
"We deploy in under 72 hours, with immediately operational profiles," says Patrick Abadie, Founder and Chairman. "What we bring to Spain is a rare combination: a structured approach to transition management and a thorough understanding of local dynamics."
A new milestone in international development
With Madrid, Delville Management strengthens its European footprint. The firm is now present in ten cities: Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Toulouse, Strasbourg, London, Düsseldorf, Milan and Madrid. A network designed to ensure proximity, quality and responsiveness across all assignments.
But Spain is more than a dynamic market of 48 million people. It is also a natural gateway to Latin America. Several Spanish clients are already engaging Delville Management for assignments extending to Chile, Peru and Argentina. The Madrid office is conceived as a future Euro-Latin hub, attuned to cultural nuances and regional specificities.
For Eric Selva, opening the Madrid office is a strategic choice for Delville Management — but it is also, in his own words, "a homecoming." The grandson of Spanish immigrants, he lived in Spain for more than 20 years and built most of his career there: heading restaurant groups, presiding over a top-division handball club, holding a socios membership at Real Madrid, and serving as Vice President of the French Chamber of Commerce in Madrid for 17 years.
But his ties run deeper than his network: since 2016, Eric has been working as a consultant and transition manager on both sides of the Pyrenees. He has an intimate understanding of clients' needs as well as those of the managers themselves. "I have led, restructured, guided… and I have been a transition manager myself. I know exactly what the people I support are going through."
For those who cross his path, Eric Selva embodies an essential dimension of transition management: the human connection. He speaks readily of the human side of his work — the satisfaction he finds in supporting others, passing on knowledge, opening doors. A commitment that resonates with Delville Management's core belief: putting people at the heart of performance.
